Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch WA.This contemporary state of the art childcare facility on a light site situated in the Fiona Stanley Hospital site to accommodate 102 children. The centre caters for children ranging in age from 0S5 years with eight classrooms which includes two baby designated rooms. Passive solar design techniques including roof daylighting & Masterwall’s super high performance thermal cladding rendered wall system that is thermally efficient and cost effective to run in the long term were key features and requirements for the project. The interior design theme was inspired from nature which connected well with the outside texture finish & native themed play scape. The facility includes a kitchen for meal preparation and is fully wheelchair accessible.
Masterwall WA was contracted to Supply, Install & Render the 950sqm building during the wettest months of the year (June/August 2014).
Masterwall WA completed the install & render in 41 days, 3 days ahead of the schedule. 334 x 100mm MW Panels / 950sqm Render finish: Coventry Course including anti-graffiti.
