WHY DO MORE ACHITECTS,
DESIGNERS, BUILDERS AND OWNERS
CHOOSE MASTERWALL EIFS?
As Australia’s leading EIFS supplier, MasterWall not only provides panels, fixings and render but gives clients the reassurance that comes from a professionally qualified company with products and processes that meet the relevant building codes.
MASTERWALL COMPLIES WITH
THE BUILDING CODE OF AUSTRALIA
The use of an EIFS is regulated by the building code. However, since in Australia EIFS is a relatively new type of wall cladding, the code does not specifically refer to EIFS.
To meet the requirements of the Building Code the manufacturer or supplier of an EIFS must present the building system in a form that a building surveyor can assess. The surveyor must be satisfied that the material, form of construction or design meets the performance requirements of the BCA.
APPRAISED BY THE CSIRO
All MasterWall EIFS materials and components have been designed and manufactured to meet the performance criteria of the Australian Building Code. A CSIRO appraisal has confirmed that the Masterwall complies with the requirements of the BCA.
WEATHER PROOFING
AND THERMAL PERFORMANCE
Weatherproofing is both an essential part of an effective EIFS and a requirement of the BCA. MasterWall EIFS include sealants and flashing tape to seal all joins and openings prior to the application of the acrylic render.
The new 5 star Energy Guidelines also specify that all openings and gaps must be sealed to maintain thermal integrity.
MASTERWALL IS A REGISTERED BUILDER
The Building Commission requires that all installation and rendering works over the value of $5,000 must be done by a Registered Builder. MasterWall has the appropriate Domestic and Commercial Builders Licences to install EIFS.

MASTERWALL WARRANTY INSURANCE -
OWNER BUILDERS
The Building Commission requires that a Warranty Insurance Policy must be taken out on behalf of the Owner Builder for installation and rendering works over $12,000. Warranty Insurance Policies can only be issued by companies that have a domestic building licence. MasterWall has two domestic building licences and can offer Warranty Insurance to comply with industry regulations.
